
Italia Graham, the founder of Upcoming Leaders of America, is an accomplished individual with
a solid educational background. Italia attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke
for her educational studies. Italia holds a bachelor's degree in psychology (2014) as well as a
Master of Social Work (2017) from the University. Italia's passion for social work led her to
pursue her Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) licensure, which has equipped her
with the skills necessary to provide mental health and outpatient therapy services to individuals
and groups. Italia takes pride in her family relationships and enjoys spending time with her
family.
Having worked in the field for several years, holding various positions, and gaining valuable
experiences with challenges faced by both adults and children. As Italia continued her journey
in the mental health field, her passion began with providing outpatient therapy to children and
later providing high level service models to children. It is through these experiences that she
has come to recognize the critical importance of creating a supportive environment for
children. Italia has been able to understand and witness firsthand unique obstacles and the
immense level of support required for children (5-18) requires in order to thrive. Italia’s passion
has led her to counsel a multitude of clients from various populations and helping to make a
difference once client at time.
